Hey lovelies, can you believe it’s August already? And we are already midweek! Time seems to just flyyyy. Hope you are all having a lovely, productive week. This blog post is going to be about my favouite holiday outfit.
I got back from holiday just over three weeks a go (Take me back) I have major holiday blues. If you ever get the chance to travel to Cape Verde, GO! It was absolutely amazing. The people who work there are so lovely and will literally do anything for you. I went with my boyfriend for 10 days, I think that’s just the perfect amount of time for a holiday.
We went on an excursion and they took us to a shipwreck which has been there since 1968. The guide said within the next 5 years it will have washed away!
(Bit of History there for ya)
Sooo my favourite holiday outfit is my prom dress from 3 years ago(I just love it!). I’m not the type of girl to have them long, gypsy wedding type dresses (You know what i mean) I guess I’m just too small, they would bury me… literally haha. As soon as i saw this dress i just knew it was the one (Love at first sight), i bought it from Topshop in the Boutique section and it only cost £90. I thought this was really cheap compared to how much the other girls were spending on their dresses, unfortunately this dress is no longer available.
This is a white, strapless, flared dress. It also has white embroidered flowers all over the dress, it’s just stunning! I’ve actually made use of this dress too as I’ve worn it to prom, my uncles wedding and this holiday. People tend to sell their dresses on or can’t really wear them again. However, due to mine being quite plain and simple but gorgeous at the same time I’m able to wear it over and over again :D.
On holiday I dressed it up with shoes and accessories. Pink pointed heels with a rose gold heel to bring the whole outfit together making it look sophisticated and classy. They are only £6 from Primark, bargain! The clutch bag is rose gold and sparkly, I love it! It’s only £20 from River Island, i got it last year for Christmas. Unfortunately this bag is out of stock. I always think it’s important for your bag to match your shoes! I wore a pretty little pink and gold flower necklace which i thought brought the whole outfit together, it was the icing on the cake. This necklace is from Primark too, i don’t know the price of this as my boyfriends mum lent it me to take on holiday. The watch i am wearing is also rose gold (Shock) and silver. It’s from Marc Jacobs and was bought as a gift from my mum.
(Just a picture of me in this pretty dress holding a cocktail, I just want to go back!)
I think you can all tell that one of my favourite colours is rose gold, I just think it’s so pretty and classy. This outfit wouldn’t have looked as good if it wasn’t for my tan! I always go really brown on holiday due to having Italian blood in me.
I hope you liked this outfit and how I styled it. Please leave your opinions below, it would mean a lot.
